Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Packaging Tape

Packaging tape helps seal cartons, bundle products, identify handling instructions and support everyday warehouse, office and dispatch tasks. Insinc’s range includes acrylic packaging tape, cloth tape, masking tape, filament tape, double-sided tape, coloured tape, printed message tape and compatible dispensers.

Options are available in widths from 12mm to 96mm, with clear, brown, coloured and printed formats for different packaging and operational requirements.

Which Type of Tape Should You Choose?

Clear and brown OPP acrylic tape suit general carton sealing, with 48mm and 72mm widths available. Low-noise tape can help reduce dispensing noise in busy packing areas, while printed tapes marked “Fragile”, “Hold”, “Security Seal” or “Sold” provide visible handling or status instructions.

Cloth tape offers a flexible option for bundling, repairs and selected industrial tasks. Glass-fibre filament tape provides additional reinforcement for compatible cartons and packages, while double-sided permanent high-bond tape suits applications requiring concealed adhesion between two surfaces.

Masking, Office or Coloured Packaging Tape?

Clear acrylic office tape is available in 12mm, 18mm and 24mm widths with small- and large-core options. Check the roll core diameter before choosing a desktop or handheld dispenser.

Automotive and high-temperature crepe masking tapes are available in several widths, alongside pre-taped masking films and drop films for surface coverage. Coloured packaging and vegetable-bundling tapes can support product identification, sorting or colour-coded workflows.

Choose tape according to the packaging surface, required adhesion, temperature exposure, roll width and dispenser compatibility. Many products require confirmation of pricing and availability, so contact Insinc before ordering.
