Which Clear Bag Format Should You Choose?

Flat bags suit slim products such as biscuits, slices and small snacks. Gusseted bags expand at the sides or base, providing more room for croissants, rolls and other bulky baked goods.

Purpose-sized NatureFlex bags are available for cookies, pies, cake slices and bread rolls. Hot and crispy bags or glassine window bags may suit takeaway products where presentation and convenient handling are important.

PLA, NatureFlex or Standard Clear Bags?

PLA and NatureFlex are different materials and should not automatically be treated as interchangeable. NatureFlex products are described as wood-pulp or cellophane-style bags, while PLA bags are made from a plant-derived bioplastic.

Compostability depends on the specific product certification and whether an appropriate composting facility accepts the packaging. Check the dimensions, gusset, material, thickness and intended food application before ordering.
